Dr. William Buchanan

Bill Buchanan, MD, is the Chief Medical Officer of the Motion Musculoskeletal Institute, leveraging over three decades of experience in orthopedic medicine. Following surgical and orthopedic residencies at USC-LACO Medical Center, he embarked on a distinguished career at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center Bellflower/Downey. There, he held various leadership roles, including Assistant Area Medical Director and Chief of the Department of Orthopedics.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Buchanan has also held appointments at the USC Department of Orthopedics, on the USC Orthopedic Group Board of Directors, and on California Orthopedic Association Board of Directors. He received his MD from Georgetown Medical School.
