Important News About Your Motion MSK Care
Motion MSK is changing how we provide musculoskeletal care. This change will provide our patients with stronger coordination in their care and expanded online, virtual support.
Starting March 30, 2026, Motion MSK will switch to a care plan that mixes stronger online support from the Motion team with local partner doctors called “Affiliate Providers” for in-person visits.
What This Means for You
Motion MSK in-person visits will stop on June 1, 2026. If you have an appointment before June 1, 2026, please go to it and talk about your next steps with your Motion MSK doctor.
Our online care team will keep helping patients. Motion is adding more online care and coordination services to better guide patients through finding out what's wrong, treatment, and getting better.
Some patients will finish their care with the Motion team they have now. If your treatment is expected to end before June 1, you will stay with Motion for your care.
Patients who need care after June 1 may switch to an Affiliate Provider. When it is right for you, Motion will help set up your care with a qualified local doctor who specializes in musculoskeletal care. We will contact you to talk about and set up your future partner visit.
Your current Motion doctor will not be part of your care team after June 1, 2026 but the same Motion MSK online team you work with today will continue to help guide your care.
Patients who get long-term pain medicine from Motion will be helped by a Nurse Case Manager to make sure care is safely set up and you get the right follow-up care.
Your medical records will be sent to your new doctor once your appointment with the partner doctor is set up, or later if needed. You can always ask us for a copy of your medical records.
