Dr. Jeff Silber

SURGEON SPECIALIST

Jeff S. Silber, MD, DC, has been a full-time academic spine surgeon in the Northwell Health System for over 20 years. He is Associate Chairman and Chief of Orthopaedic Spinal Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, and holds the academic position as Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. He is extremely active in educating orthopedic colleagues, residents, medical students, and chiropractic interns.

Dr. Silber specializes in degenerative spinal surgery in a multidisciplinary setting, and is one of the only spine surgeons in the country with both medical and chiropractic degrees. He has authored over 60 peer-reviewed scientific articles and has written over 30 textbook chapters on spinal-related topics. He received his MD from New York Medical College.
